澳门王中王 has specially trained nurses and providers to help care for our sickest patients.
Our critical care supervises includes providers called intensivists. This is a dedicated group of physicians is trained in pulmonary/critical care medicine and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Their single focus is critical care.
Our intensivists cover areas such as medications, care plans, and psychological issues. The intensivists work with the patient’s doctor to achieve these goals, relaying vital information necessary to institute and carry out the treatment plan.
Visitor Information
Patients being treated in the unit are usually critically ill and require a high level of care. Policies have been set up for the benefit of the patients and their families. To provide a healing environment and privacy for our patients, please follow these guidelines:
- Family Only – Visits are limited to immediate family members only unless otherwise directed by patients or their families.
- Two at a Time – We ask that no more than two people at a time visit the patient. Talk with your nurse about how long your visits should be.
- No Children Under the Age of 12 – To keep a quiet atmosphere for patients, we try to limit the number of children visiting. Talk with your nurse about making special visiting arrangements.
- Visiting Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. – To protect patients privacy, visitors are to remain in the patient’s room or the waiting room. Talk with your nurse about making arrangements for special visitor exceptions outside of our limited visiting hours.
- Daily Rounds – A family spokesperson is encouraged to attend daily rounds. Weekday rounding is at 10:30 a.m. in the third floor critical care unit, and at 1:30 p.m. in the second floor critical care unit.
- Please Do Not Bring – Live flowers, outside food or drinks, latex balloons.
